Captain Horus: „This will be perfect for us, Lord Nelson. Imagine what’s waiting for us in this new world.“
Lord Nelson: „Yes, Captain Horus. This will be fantastic.“
Im Indianerdorf:
Indianer kommt aufgeregt zum Häuptling: „Something amazing has happened. Strange men have come to our shore. They are not like us. Their skin shines like the sun, and some of them have hair made of gold. Their sticks make thunder like the gods, and they have huge beasts that fly upon the sea. They are very powerful. We must be careful.“
Anderer Indianer: „What is it they want?“
Häuptling: „We should meet them and see what they want, and what they are doing here. Gather all our warriors, and prepare.“
Begegnung zwischen Weißen und Indianern:
Häuptling: „Well… eh… hello! What are you doing here?“
Captain Horus: „What are we doing here? We came to settle down and live! Why?“
Häuptling: „Live? Are you going to live here?“
Horus: „Yeah! Why do you ask?“
Häuptling: „Are all of you going to live here?“
Horus: „Yeah! You got a problem with it?“
Häuptling: „Well, this is our land! You can’t take our land!“
Horus: „Excuse me! Your land?“
Häuptling: „Yes, our people’s land. It belongs to us. We Indians have lived here for thousands of years.“
Horus: „Indians! What’s that?“
Häuptling: „We are Indians.“
Horus: „There is no such thing as an Indian. We are all humans! Oh geez, I didn’t know that such ignorant bigots like you are still around. You really need to be educated.“
Häuptling: „This land belongs to our people.“
Horus: „Our land is your land and your land is my land! We live in a globalized world now, don’t you know? I can’t believe you don’t know that. It’s 1612, for heavens‘ sake. Are you still living in the 1530s or something?“
Häuptling: „We Indians came here before you. You can’t take the land from us!“
Horus: „Are you racist? There are no lands for certain people. Earth is for everybody. We are all humans! ‚Indian‘ is just a social construct.“
Häuptling: „Yes, we might all be humans, but it is still our land. You white men can’t steal it from us. You have no right to do it!“
Horus: „You are imagining things in your racist little mind. We are not taking anything from you! What’s wrong if some of us live here in America? Don’t you know we all have a common African ancestor?“
Häuptling: „It doesn’t matter! You white men are not like us. We are Indians! And this is still our homeland.“
Horus: „You racist Indians are thinking too much in terms of ‚us‘ and ’them‘. You should just accept diversity, and if you do, diversity will be our greatest strength!“
Häuptling: „Can’t you even see with your own eyes that we look different? How hard can that be?“
Horus: „Oh God! There is only one race, the human race! What on Earth are you afraid of? Why would it be such a problem if we white people live here with you? The only problem here is your racism toward us.“
Häuptling: „You will destroy our culture and our way of life.“
Lord Nelson: „Define ‚Indian culture‘, please.“
Häuptling: „What?!“
Nelson: „You just claimed that there was an Indian culture. So now I demanded you define exactly what the Indian culture is.“
Häuptling: „Ah… okay: We eat corn in our village, and we have ceremonies when we dance around fire and the Pogo, the totem pole.“
Nelson: „Well, in Europe we have these white Swedish people who eat falun sausages and dance around the may pole every summer. We are not that different, you see. And what threat is it to your ‚culture‘ anyway if we live here?“
Häuptling: „If you come here and dominate with your culture, it will change our way of life too.“
Nelson: „No no no. If you’re so afraid that your precious little culture will be destroyed by us, let me assure you you can dance around your pathetic totem pole all you want. No one will stop you from doing that. Besides: diversity is our strength, well I thought you know that.“
Indianischer Mathematiker: „But Chief… if you white people come with this amount of ships every day like this, 500 ships a day with 300 people on board, for 80 years, you will eventually be majority in our land.“
Horus: „Whites will take over America? Hahahahaha! That is just a racist Indian neonazi conspiracy theory.“
Mathematiker: „No, it’s not. You will be majority in our land in the future, if present trends continue.“
Horus: „Even if we Whites take over America, who cares? It’s just skin colour! You should not make an issue out of skin colour. After all, it is the person inside that really matters. We all bleed red!“
Häuptling: „It does matter!“
Horus: „America will become a little whiter in the future. Why would you make such a big fuss out of that?“
Häuptling: „It’s not just skin colour. We have different skull shapes, and a lot of other things are different.“
Horus: „Now you are starting to sound like a Nazi. We are 99,9 % genetically the same according to scientific studies. There is only a tiny little genetic difference between us, really tiny. And like I said, even if we Whites do take over America, your smart Indian mathematician here recently just told everyone that it won’t happen for another 80 years. And you’ll all be dead by that anyway, why waste precious little time caring about the future? You won’t even be alive then. Enjoy your life, it’s too short to go around full of hate. By 1715 we Whites will have integrated into the society, and we’ll all be Indians just like you.“
Häuptling: „It doesn’t matter if you integrate into our culture; you are not one of us!“
Horus: „Just because we are white we are not allowed to be Indians? That is sooo racist!“
(Schlafender Indianer erwacht gähnend und hebt den ausgestreckten rechten Arm. Nelson erschießt ihn.)
Horus: „Why did you shoot him?“
Nelson: „Well, didn’t you see that? That was a Nazi who wants to kill six million Jews!“
Horus: „Oh, I see. Good shot, Lord Nelson! One Nazi down. I got a feeling here that there might be a lot of Nazis in hiding. I got that impression just by this conversation with that Indian chief. He kept using the terms ‚us‘ and ‚them‘. Can you believe that he has a problem with us just because we are different? These racist attitudes make me ill.“
Nelson: „Yes, I think your observation is spot on, Sir.“
Horus: „You see we all bleed red! So what’s the big deal if you share this land with us?“
Häuptling (nach einem Blick auf den blutenden erschossenen Indianer): „Well, I think there will be conflict if you live here with us. We will not be able to live happy with each other side by side.“
Horus: „In your little ignorant racist mind perhaps, but I believe in humanity. One humanity. Why can’t we all just get along?“
Häuptling: „Because you are different.“
Horus: „An immigrant is just a friend you don’t know. (Zu Nelson „Hehehe, I hope they believed it.“) When we Whites settle down and get a job and pay taxes we will become Indians just like you.“
Häuptling: „Okay then. But at least can’t we get a little piece for ourselves in our homeland, so we can preserve our people?“
Horus: „Why do you think that you have the right to your homeland in the first place? Are Indians a superior race or something?“
Häuptling: „No, I’m not saying we are superior. But…“
Horus: „Besides, what’s the big deal if your precious Indian race gets mixed away in a sea of white? It’s called evolution! You sound like an Indian supremacist to me. Talking about your land and the preservation of your Indian people and culture.“
Häuptling: „No, I’m just saying that…“
Horus: „Why won’t you share your rich continent with us poor immigrants who have fled from religious persecution in Europe? We are just seeking a better life here! Why do you hate so much? What do you have against this little white girl that has travelled here all the way from Europe? What do you have against her?“
Häuptling: „I have nothing against that little girl. I don’t know her.“
Horus: „Exactly. But it is these individuals we are talking about here, that you want to throw back into the sea, sending back to be persecuted in Europe. What an inhuman thing to do. Look into her eyes! Why do you want to harm this little girl?
Häuptling: „I have nothing against her. But…“
Horus: „But what?! It’s hard to see racism when you are an Indian.“
Häuptling: „I had enough of this! You Whites cannot come over here and take our land! I don’t care if you integrate or work or whatever. I don’t care if I’m a racist. So be it! It’s our land!“
Die Weißen beginnen einen Sprechchor: „No racist on our streets! No racist on our streets…“
Nach der Erschießung aller Indianer durch eine Musketensalve sagt der Häuptling, der als Letzter einen Schuß in die Brust bekommt: „I… am… no… racist!“
Schütze: „All racists say that.“
Nelson: „Phew… well maybe it was not nice to shoot all of them, but it was necessary to get rid of racism.“
4 YEARS LATER…
Junge Indianerin: „I am educated. I have been at the university. And I have a Master in community relations and Indian privilege. I have learned that all the major positions in all of the tribes are Native Americans! Not a single is white! And that is a clear evidence of discrimination and racism. Whites are being held down by the racist Indians and must fight to take the rightful place in society.“
Horus: „We must replace the Indian chiefs with white people, since skin colour doesn’t matter.“
Indianerin: „You are right! It is very hard to see racism when you are Indian.“
Horus: „Of course! We are all humans.“
Junger Weißer: „I’ve started an anti-racist movement to fight racism. I located all their racist hate groups, and all of them are in this book.“
Indianerin: „Oh wonderful! This is great!“
Junger Weißer: „I’m not anti-Indian, I’m anti-racist!“

Der chaotische Rousseau und die Legende vom „edlen Wilden“ sind nicht tot zu kriegen!

Sicherlich haben die nach Nordamerika eingewanderten Europäer die Zahl der dort lebenden indianischen Bevölkerung bis zur Bedeutungslosigkeit reduziert –
(durch Gewalt und Betrug – was wohl in Anbetracht der riesigen Landfläche dieses Kontinents nicht nötig gewesen wäre; es wäre doch genügend Platz für ein friedliches Nebeneinander vorhanden gewesen- allerdings streng g e o g r a f i s c h getrennt)
– jedoch gibt es Berichte über Sitten und Gebräuche der Indianer – und über an weißen Siedlern verübten Scheußlichkeiten und Massakern, die auch hier das Bild vom „edlen Wilden“ erheblich trüben …

/ August 17, 2017Die Absicht der Macher dieses Videos hast Du offenbar gründlich mißverstanden, Edith.
In Wirklichkeit soll es ein satirisches Spiegelbild und eine Verarsche der antiweißen, einwanderungsbefürwortenden und rasseverleugnenden Gutmenschenargumentation sein: Die Indianer stehen hier für die Weißen, die mit den Schiffen angekommenen Europäer entsprechen den „Flüchtlingen“ (einschließlich des „armen weißen Mädchens, das vor religiöser Verfolgung in Europa geflohen ist“), und Captain Horus und Lord Nelson spielen die Rolle der antirassistischen Gutmenschen, die sich für die „Flüchtlinge“ einsetzen. Mit der jungen „gebildeten“ Indianerin nach „4 Years Later“ werden gutmenschliche weiße Frauen und Absolventinnen von „Whiteness Studies“ aufs Korn genommen, und die „rassistischen indianischen Hassgruppen“ in dem Buch („Indian Pride“, „Red Power“, „Indian Defence League“ etc.) widerspiegeln die weißen Nationalisten, die von Organisationen wie der ADL als „Hassgruppen“ diffamiert werden. Eine gewisse Zweischneidigkeit hat das Ganze allerdings schon.
[Ich hätte nicht gedacht, daß eine solche Erläuterung zu dem Video notwendig sein würde.]
Darüber, daß Amerika heute auch dann kein unberührtes Indianerparadies mehr wäre, wenn die Europäer damals nach der Entdeckung des Kontinents auf dessen Kolonisierung verzichtet hätten, habe ich (als Deep Roots) vor längerem einen Artikel geschrieben:

/ August 18, 2017Doch, doch: da die Überschrift in Anführungsstrichen erschien, war mein erster Eindruck schon, daß sie satirisch gemeint war. Ich konnte das Video jedoch nur als Stummfilm, ohne Ton, sehen, daher meine vorschnelle Deutung, die mir letztendlich zugegeben auch „in den Kram paßte“. Die von Ihnen angesprochene „Zweischneidigkeit der Sache“ tat ein Übriges.
(Nach entsprechender Reparatur werde ich mir das Video/die Videos nochmals ansehen).
Vielen Dank für den Hinweis auf Ihren Artikel „Amerindomerika, Euromerika..“..Mit Ihren Überlegungen, daß die Europäer den „anderen“ nur zuvorgekommen sind und Schlimmeres verhütet haben, haben Sie wohl recht.
Meine Töchter und Enkel (ich bin 80 Jahre alt) hatten mir früher oft die Frage gestellt, warum ausgerechnet die Europäer „in alle Kontinente eingedrungen“ seien und sich dort niedergelassen hätten. Ich hatte mir (und damit ihnen) dies mit der Natur der Europäer bzw. der „weißen Rasse“ erklärt: Intelligenz, Wissensdurst, Entdeckerfreude, Tatendrang, Durchhaltevermögen, wohl auch einfach Raumnot – sie folglich gar nicht anders konnten …
